Oh Boogie
Hello!Welcome to www.whispering-bliss.blogspot.com!
Goodness, I am tired. I want to sleep, I want to rest, I want time to myself! Argh!! Words can't express how tired I am from working. I can only take a day off once a week, ugh, and my next day off is on the 18th, but I'm not resting on that day. I'm going back to school(Yes, SCHOOL). Then there's planning of the BBQ that the Planting Hope team will be attending(I really really really hope that she goes.)
On the 23rd, I'll be heading off to Sony Style(Or Gallery, whichever) to learn more about the Rolly. Rolly, a darn cute product that has stereo speakers, Bluetooth, and actually dances to the tune and rythm, AND tempo of the music. How neat and cute is that? Starting price is $699, including tax. I shan't be getting one. It's not exactly the best piece of audio equipment around, and if you drop it, I'm afraid it won't survive it. I've seen two in real life, one actually functional, but no longer functional today. And am I impressed by what it can do. It's a neat gadget, granted. However it's not exactly something practical. It's more of something that you bring out, and it sends out a non-verbal shout-out of: "Hey, look at me, I'm rich, I have something you don't." Like a snob. How're you ever going to use it outside anyway? And personally I think earphones would do better justice anyway. So, is Rolly something worth getting all psyched up for? My verdict: No. It's simply not worth it, it's too expensive. Blowing away $300 for a good hi-fi system or the same $699 for a home theatre system with 7.1 channels would do way better justice for your wallet and definitely packs more bang for buck. Period.
I'm beginning to think I should stop hoping. Then again, why was anything said ever said to me??? I'm confused about what to think...
